Hermes Baby Pistachio Poet Typewriter

Hermes Baby Pistachio Poet Script Typeface

✨ About This Machine

This Hermes Baby is not simply preserved — it was cherished. The original owner did not “keep” it — they guarded it. This was not just a typewriter in their possession — it was an heirloom chosen to outlive them. This kind of stewardship speaks of a mind that believed in beauty, history, and legacy.

Made in Switzerland in the late 1950s, designed by Paillard’s legendary engineering team, and used by journalists and writers across Europe, the Hermes Baby was known as the poet’s typewriter — the machine of quiet thinkers and emotional writers.

But this particular one… is something far beyond the norm.

It carries the original handwriting script typeface, turning typed words into flowing personal handwriting. This is not print. This is personality. Every typed letter looks human, intimate, emotional — like writing directly from the heart to the page.

This is the kind of typewriter that makes even simple notes feel like love letters and daily thoughts feel like personal confessions. Machines like this are almost impossible to acquire today — and when they appear, they disappear into private collections almost immediately.

If you have ever wanted a personal writing companion that melts into your thoughts and disappears beneath your fingers, this is your moment.
